OUTBREAK WORLD FINALS 2013 was the perfect final send off to one of the best breakin' jams in the world. My MVB of Outbreak (most valuable bboy / bgirl) were Fleau and Ayumi. At 18 yrs young, Fleau showed passion & heart by flying from Montreal on last second's notice, paying a crazy _text_1,000 plane ticket, and competed literally on one leg because of an injured kneecap, torn ACL, and meniscus, which limited his range of motion and couldn't bend his leg. His reward? By winning Outbreak. Ayumi for showing bgirls can be on equal levels as the best bboys in the world, by going head-to-head against world class like Roxrite, and holding her own. Ayumi had the most impressive bgirl performance I had ever seen in an event! If there ever was a bgirl that needs to be showcased in a BC One Finals, it is Ayumi. Both Fleau and Ayumi showed that with passion and dedication you can conquer anything, regardless of age, gender, or physical disability! Big shoutouts to The Bboy Spot for holding a jam that was 100% bboy / bgirl. The best music, the gritty cyphers, the essence that you can, just by being there, feel part of creating something incredible. You know how many dance events, you end up watching more than you feel you are participating? Outbreak is not one of those events. If there was a bboy event in the world that showed what Peace, Love, Unity, and Having Fun was, it was Outbreak. As Intact from Ruffneck Attack said, "Outbreak made me who I am now."
