Contestants were challenged to enter a world were the keen awareness of sound, knowing your surroundings and being fully body conscious is not only a way of skill; but a way of the warrior. Each contestant was blindfolded before entering the arena. Each warrior wasallowed one advisor in his/her corner during the match. The Grand Master Champion received the Title of "Zatoichi Warrior" and was honored with the "Sacred Cloth".
