International Hip Hop Dance Festival – Heerlen - The Netherlands
Since the start in 1998 The Notorious IBE has become to be one of the biggest Hip Hhop Ddance Ffestivals in the world and this year celebratingtes its their 12th edition in September. With the presence of visitors coming from over 35 different countries and 200 invited artists worldwide, the city of Heerlen prepares itself forr the takeover. As the mayor of the city of Heerlen stated in 2011;
“Tfor the next three days, the city is yours!”.
IBE is all about celebrating all aspects of the Hip Hop Dance Culture. ThereforeNext , next to the many competitions that are taking place during at IBE, the focus is also on the social aspect of getting together, exchanging information and lifve experiences. . Not only through via workshops and panels, but for example also via the IBE Block Jam, Hip Hop Market and a Media Conference.
What better way to already announce the presence of legendary names such as Crazy Legs, Henry Link, Storm, Maurizio, Buddha Stretch, Caleaf, Bruce Ykanji and many more who will be present at the festival.

ALLll Battles ALLAll 2012 – Red Bull AllSstars vs Team France vs Young Gunz – Sunday 9th
The 2012 edition of the ALLll Battles ALLll teams is promised to be a good one!
FFirst of all, for the first time ever, the complete squad squad of the Red Bull AllSstars will battle together. This elite team of Red Bull dancers features iworld-class bbng BBoys Neguin, Ronnie, Lil G, Cico, Hong10, Lilou, Taisuke, Roxrite and, Pelezinho. The second squad is Team France, that
paying respect to the french bboy scene that is still is on top of the game with crews such as Vagabonds and Pockemon. and the fact that Ssince 2005 there has not been a French team in ALLll Battles ALLll, so now it’s time for the French to show the world why they are still on top. .
The third team is the one for the upcoming new and amazing talents called ‘Young Gunz’. Young bb BBoys from all over the world are selected for this team to show and proof if what they got have what it takes to hold it up against the experienced AllSstars and France.
New Dance Media Conference (NDMC) – Friday 7th
The growing importance and role of media for the Hip Hop Dance resulted in organizing a New Dance Media Conference during the IBE. With this conference and through workshops, panels and expositions, a platform for all the involved media artists is provided.
This yearLast year the festival started with the New Dance Media Conference to give a platform for involved media artists at IBE. The purpose of the conference is to exchange via workshops and panels, show developments via cinema and exposition and show the growing importance of the role of media into Hip hop Dance. mMedia artists like YAK Films, Strifve TV, JUBA films, Antoine ‘Tony’ Schirer, Tomson, Mason Rose, Little Shao, Homard Payette, Maurice van der Meijs and many more will be present at theat the conference and festival.
IBE Block Jam - Friday 7th
On Friday the festival will be hosting the IBE Block Jam at a big parking lot right in the centre of Heerlen. Including everything you expect from a Block Jam, with artist from all the elements in Hip Hop will unite and celebrate the culture together.
